Rescuing Opportunities

On May 2, 2009, we will be rescuing from two churches. We will meet at our residential location in Fairfax, and travel from there. Please contact us to tell us that you can help.

Distribution Opportunities`

On May 21-23 we will be at the Pender United Methodist Church. On May we will be at the Rockville Hometown Holidays.

Do Your SIV hours with us!

Frequently, our volunteers come from the ranks of students who need to complete hours for their school or organization. We welcome such volunteers. These volunteers have helped pack boxes to ship to Africa, have worked with the inventory, and have learned our customized, book-processing software. These volunteer hours are spent at our residential location at 10820 Orchard St, Fairfax VA 22030.  Maryann has 3 cats, so stay away or you will discover if you have cat allergies.

Host a Shelf!

We are always looking for places to put one of our "free" shelves, a place to find good homes for our books valued between $1 and $5. West Coast Teriyaki remains our first commercial sponsor of a Free Shelf. You must try their bulgogi. Jung and In have appreciated the business Diana's free books has naturally attracted. Please contact us if you would like to host a Free Shelf.
