Dingo-Approved Restaurants

Dingo lives in the New Orleans area.  So it makes perfect since that she loves to go out to eat.  Well...she does not actually eat when she goes out, but Dave and Angela do.  And Dingo likes to be included in the fun.

Here is a list of pet-friendly restaurants in the greater New Orleans area that Dingo has visited as well as other pet-friendly restaurants that she plans to visit next.  Since Dingo does not like to sit next to busy side walks or noisy streets, she is only interested in restaurants with a court yard or a pleasant patio where she can enjoy the outdoors.  If you have a restaurant suggestion, please let Dingo know at dingo-marshall@cox.net.

Dingo-Approved Restaurants:

Dante's Kitchen - 736 Dante St.
Dante's Kitchen is a very nice restaurant located uptown near the river.  Dingo was allowed in their lush garden patio.  Their gourmet food and service was great.   Dingo found it comfortable and relaxing.

Cafe Luna - 802 Nashville at Magazine St.
Cafe Luna is a cute coffeehouse surrounded by an iron fence that has outside tables on a shaded porch.  There is also a picnic table underneath a shady tree.  The employees made Dingo feel very welcome (they keep a jar full dog bones) and the sandwiches and pastries were good too.

Cafe Rani - 2917 Magazine St.
Cafe Rani in the Garden District has a courtyard with outdoor seating.  But be sure to bring a thick, comfortable bed due to the rocky ground.  Cafe Rani is across the street from Belladonna, a spa that sells a few dog items, and a few blocks down from Petcetera.

Royal Blend - 621 Royal St.
This French Quarter coffee and tea house has outdoor seating in their courtyard.   They are also a few blocks down from Three Dog Bakery.

More Pet Friendly Restaurants:

Dingo has not had a chance to visit these restaurants, but they were recommended to her by other pet owners.  So you may want to call them to check before heading out the house.

Louisiana Pizza Kitchen in the French Market
Lulu's in the French Quarter
The Bulldog on Magazine
The Bridge Lounge on Magazine
Abita Springs Cafe in Abita, Louisiana
