Why choose our Villas at Island Club condo instead of a hotel?  Where do we start?

The location is incredible, just 5 miles from Disney World, minutes from I-4, and 35 minutes from Orlando
International Airport.  More than 3 acres of
beautifully landscaped grounds and two community pools and spas. Villas at Island Club contains
some of the most spacious and private condos in the area.
Hotels in the Disney area can be very expensive; in fact you will pay the same price for a 70 Square Foot Hotel Room as you would for one of our 1,357 square foot condos, with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, and so on. You and your family will have more than one room; you have a living room, dining area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  Compare it to a hotel where you'll pay $140 a night for a 200 sq foot room at high season. That's too expensive.

Is this a time share offer?
Absolutely not! The condo shown on this website is owned by us. You are not in any way required to sit through a presentation; instead, you just sit back and enjoy your vacation rental home without a sales pitch.

Are all the resort amenities included in the price?
All resort amenities are free to all our guests at no

When is check-in & check-out times?
Your condo will be available for check-in at or after 4:00 p.m. Your check-out time is 10:00 a.m. on your departure date.  A vacation rental requires more time to clean than a hotel room.  Therefore, please help us prepare for our next guest by checking out on time.

Is there a "fold out " couch?
Yes.  The living room couch has a queen sleeper pull-out available.

 

How close is Villas at Island Club to the Disney Theme Parks?
We’re one of the closest! You will be just 5 miles to Disney.

How far is Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Sea World?
Universal, Islands of Adventure and Sea World are just 20-25 minutes away.

Is there shopping nearby?
Yes, Irlo Bronson hwy (US 192) has a grocery store (Publix is our favorite), 24 hour Walgreen’s drug store and supermarket.  There are many restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets from mouth watering Steak Houses to Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Burger and Pizza restaurants all less than 2 to 3 miles from the Windsor Hills Resort.

Is there transportation or a Shuttle to the parks?
We tell our guests that we recommend getting a rental car. Why? Because you are so close to Disney, having a car means you can come and go at any time. Every day you’ll pay $11 to park at Disney, but the good news is that once you pay in the morning, you can move around and park at any Disney park all day long and drive from park to park if you want to, no extra charge. So with a car you will be able to go back and forth to and from the Condo to any Disney park at any time. It’s free to park at the Condo, and you are right outside your door. Plus, to get to most restaurants, you’ll want to have a car. But, again, we have guests all the time that just take a cab from the airport direct to our Condo, and they use the transportation thing and it's just fine, they have a great time and don't have to worry about (or have the expense of) a rental car! Your call.

Is the resort pool heated?
Villas at Island Club offers you the perfect vacation community including two community swimming pools and spas. It is available to all guests and is heated at no extra cost during the winter months.


Do you provide air conditioning and heat?
Yes, our vacation condo has central air conditioning and heat.  

Are your kitchens fully equipped?
Yes, our condo has a fully equipped kitchen including cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, stove,  microwave, refrigerator (with ice maker), coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher, everything you need for the perfect
vacation.

Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, ample linen and towels are provided in our condo.

Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, there is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board in our condo.

Are there cleaning supplies?
We provide regular cleaning items such as a mop, broom, dustpan and vacuum.  As this style of vacation is classed as self-catering, you will be
responsible for other needs, such as soap etc. There is an on-site sundry shop and supermarkets and grocery stores close to the resort.

Is the condo cleaned daily?
No, our condo are cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure.  There is no cleaning charge unless you stay less than 5 nights.  A mid-stay clean and shine can be arranged at additional cost.

Is the condo non smoking?
Yes, our condo was purchased brand new and has never allowed smoking.  The condo is NON SMOKING! In accordance with Florida State Laws, our condo and communal areas are designated No Smoking areas. No smoking is permitted inside the condo.

Do you allow pets in your condos or town house?  
No, we do not allow pets in our condo.  There are no exceptions. 

Where do we pick up the keys?
Check in is on your schedule. Anytime after 4PM on your day of arrival, just show up at the Condo, and there is a lockbox on the doorframe. Simply enter the code (which we will give you) and that opens the lockbox. Inside the lockbox is a key to the door. Very simple and easy.

What if something is not working at our condo?
Our local management company maintains the
condo in tip top condition.  You will be provided with their telephone number and they are normally available 24/7 in the unlikely event that there is a problem.  Please only call after hours in emergencies only.

How many people can stay in the condo?
Our condo is properly licensed.  Florida State license dictates how many people can stay in our vacation rental.  The maximum number of guests is as follows:   3 bedroom condos—a maximum of 8 guests

 

Why are your dates Saturday to Saturday? I don’t like that because my dates are different!
When we first built our Condo business, we wanted to offer the absolute lowest prices so families could afford to stay in a Condo. So here’s what we did: We added up all our expenses for a year (mortgage, taxes, electric, condo association fees, phone, internet, etc.) and divided it by 52 (since there are 52 weeks in a year). That gave us what we needed on average each week to “break even”. We are not trying to make money off our guests, just pay expenses. We then set the schedule on a Saturday to Saturday week since that was what 97% of all guests were asking for. So then all we do is SELL OUT all 52 weeks, some LOWER rate, some HIGHER rate - and that covers all our expenses. We have learned that when we only rent 3 or 4 nights in a week, then the rest of the week almost always goes UNRENTED. In short, we pay for it. We don’t feel it is fair for us to pay for your vacation, so that’s why all 52 weeks must sell out. But here’s the good news: Our rates are so low in off peak periods that it is better to pay for the extra week and only use the nights you want. We have many guests who do that. They want 10 days, but buy 14 because it is still less expensive than many other Condos. You cannot find a small hotel room for what we charge on a per-night basis.

 

How about the Beach, or Kennedy Space Center?
Ahh, some of our favorite places. You may want to visit Cocoa Beach too.  It's 48 minutes from Windsor Hills to Cocoa Beach. Slightly less to Kennedy Space Center or the Beach right behind Ron Jon's Surf Shop (you must visit there). Overall, call it 45 minutes, it's expressway/freeway the whole way! You also will have a few toll booths on rt 528 east.
