Religion and Politics

What are Religion and Politics?
Religion vs Morality
Creationism ad absurdum  new

The concept of the DittoBusters began back in the dark ages of computer bulletin boards (BBSes), when conversations were usually locally based, on someone's computer in the closet of the spare room.
Message bases allowed free exchange of ideas - from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Now, the ridiculous tended to predominate, and what I've seen on the Internet hasn't changed my opinions all that much.
Discussions ranged all over the spectrum of interests, with some areas being more popular, and the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) were born.
Politics was always one popular area of - arguement - as was Religion. I  certainly had my share of flames directed at me, as well as some other people I knew, but always considered a few things, such as who was the other debator, what their particular POV is based on, etc.
The term DittoBusters came about because of the very acceptance of the term Dittoheads and what it said about the reasoning skills of those who embraced it.
For the younger reader, Ditto not only means agreement (and it is a total agreement, absolute copy for the reason following) but it also refers to a means of copying large numbers of papers without a standard printing press, and before photocopying. It is basically a cloning of the page, and anyone who confesses to simply following someone without reasoning is not someone I would particularly want to present as an example of what an American is.
Below are various areas to explore, including reference material on the web, and off the web.
