Well, time is ticking away and while it is exciting to think about going on our adventure, we also have to come to terms with the emotions building in us as we prepare to say good bye to three of our precious grandkids, Zenia, Sabryn and Jaegur, as they get ready to move to North Carolina. One real blessing about the location they are moving to is that it is only around 230 miles from our other little grandbaby angel, Aerin, who lives in South Carolina--so we hope to be able to spend plenty of special time with them all during the many visits we hope to make to the East Coast.

But as for me, my head has begun to spin as I try to make the best use of all the nooks and crannies of the trailer...and I have to make sure I don't morph into Lucille Ball of the Long Trailer movie of old.  I see that look of panic in Don's eyes
every time I load up a basket or bag and head out to the trailer.

Since we plan on being gone for up to two months or so, that means my every-five-week- visit to my favorite hairdresser will be  postponed, so as a type of a hair survival tactic, my hairdresser and I decided to go
real short and sassy...so be forewarned that the upcoming photos that will be posted soon may be shocking! But, rest assured, that butch-looking gal is really me and you don't have to worry that Don has run off and decided to embrace the newly passed law allowing gay marriage in California.

So, now we just have to sit tight and watch the hands of the clock tick away...one part of us excited...the other part wanting to bring them to a halt in order to postpone the good bye hugs we know are just around the corner.

We just have to trust that God has a wonderful adventure awaiting
all of us.
