Sunday, July 20, 2008  -  HE SAID:   We left Ray & Robyn's farm this morning about 0730 and drove to Wisconsin Dells.  It was foggy when we left and we saw a lot of deer along the way, both in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  We checked into a nice campground, unhooked and drove around the area.  It is a really big tourist area and is apparently known for its many water parks, each one claiming to be the largest in the world.  Reminded me a lot of Branson, MO with all the motels, souvenir shops, and restaurants.  We had been here before and taken one of the boat tours, so we just looked for and found a great Mexican restaurant overlooking the dam and the river called "Mexican Rose".  Very good food, but the portions were too large.  I ended up taking my leftovers with me, and enjoyed them later that evening.  One nice feature of this particular campground was it was only about 2 blocks from a Walmart super center, where we were able to restock on some needed supplies.  Having hooked and unhooked the trailer so many times I have gotten it down to about a 5 minute job.  The truck is still running flawlessly and so far we have not had any mechanical problems.
