Saturday, July 26, 2008  -  SHE SAID:  Well, we have been having a spectacular time at my sister's & John's--LOTS of incredible food, lots of fun playing cards & games, and lots of wonderful visits with family members. Today, was Cheri's birthday and her sons, lovely wives, & kids came over, so we had beautiful grandkids running all over, making the noise that grandparents love hearing--laughter, screaming & just seeing those smiles, well what can I say, except we sure are looking forward to experiencing all that again with Aerin, Zenia, Sabryn & Jaegur VERY soon.

Later in the day, we also were pleased to be able to meet more members of John's delightful family when we went to Johns brother's home (the site of a big family celebration of July birthdays) - but it was great to see John's adorable mom, Pat, again, and to finally meet the newest member of the family, John & Cheri's grandson, Jacob, who is almost a year old and as precious as ever. His mommy, Kate, looked terrific and I'd say, is handling being a new mommy, very well! We sure loved seeing everyone but sure did miss seeing Jenny's sweet face smiling in the crowd, but we sure felt her presence in out hearts.
