Friday, July 4, 2008  HE SAID:  Well, we have arrived at Glacier National Park.  We are set up in a campground on Hwy 2 between the east and west entrance.  Beautiful site with views of the snow capped mountains.  For the first time this trip I have set up the trailer and disconnected the truck, put down the jacks, put out the awning and carpet and even our lawn chairs.  Our neighbors are a nice couple named Ken and Jodie.  He recently retired from the air force Police.  Tomorrow we are going to go into the Park and try out the new free shuttle system.  It is 72 degrees here with a slight breeze blowing.  Could it get any better than this.  I loved Montana.  I think it is my favorite state.    One thing about this high fuel cost business, there is hardly anyone on the roads.  It's great.  We saw several deer along the road, and herds of buffalo.  Interesting, I did not know they had large herds of buffalo still.  One interesting thing here is they have wireless internet, but the cell phone service is not so good.  They have a pavillion about 100' from our campsite. Inside the pavillion they have a cell phone booster antenna.   You have go there and stand next to it and then your cell phone works fine.  But, it does not work here in the camper.  That's all for today.  More
tomorrow.
