From Asheville, I-40

Take I-26 east to exit 40, and take highway 280 to Pisgah Forest.  Turn left on US 64 in Pisgah Forest.  From Pisgah Forest, travel east on US64 for 3.7 miles to the Texaco station in Penrose.  Turn right on Crab Creek Road and continue 4.3 miles and turn right on DuPont Road.  Travel 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Falls Cabin Road. Bluebird Creek Cabin is the first cabin on the right -- 34 Falls Cabin Road.

From Greenville, SC

US 276 up towards Ceasar's Head State Park.  Several minutes after entering North Carolina, turn right on Cascade Lake Road in Cedar Mountain, NC.  Continue on Cascade Lake Road and turn right on Staton Road.  The travel distance will be approximately 6 miles starting from the beginning of Cascade Lake Road to the cabin. Turn left onto Falls Cabin Road. Bluebird Creek Cabin is the first cabin on the right  -- 34 Falls Cabin Road.

From Spartanburg (I-26 westbound)

Take the Hendersonville exit #49B westbound on US64.  In downtown Hendersonville, take US25 South (Church Street) about 8 blocks, and turn right on Kanuga Street.  Take Kanuga Road (which will turn into Crab Creek Road) past Jeter Mountain and Holmes State Forest.  Turn left on DuPont Road just before the Transylvania county line. Travel 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Falls Cabin Road. Bluebird Creek Cabin is the first cabin on the right -- 34 Falls Cabin Road.
