MA BioServices, Inc.

Department of Labor:
Technical Manager: Ongoing effort supporting the DOL/ETA JETT*CON technical conference. Responsibilities include design and implementation of a network using LAN/WAN based technologies, integration of vendor technologies in pilot demo systems as well as design’ developed and implemented an ecommerce website to support the registration and management of conference exhibitors/attendees.

Watkins-Johnson Company
Oracle Consultant responsible for then development of various custom applications for the Oracle Financials & Manufacturing implementation effort. Developed applications to migrate mainframe based manufacturing Bills of Materials to Oracle. Planned and deployed the Division Corporate Intranet utilizing Oracle’s WebServer product allowing HTML access to the Financials/Manufacturing database.

Federal Avaiation Administration:
Program Manager responsible for the procurement and performance of a contract to design and manufacture of a Base Data Recorder used on Weather Radar System’s Harris mini-computer. This effort involved the design, development and testing of hardware / software for integration of COTS devices to a UNIX based system.

Department of Labor:
Technical Lead Engineer.  Managed engineers in the development and integration of a wide area communications pilot involving integration of various technologies into an enterprise backbone architecture.  Planning and integration of various services as internet addressing plan, Retix / OsiWare X.400 Email system / gateways , Sun Solaris / SCO Unix based servers offering informational resources including various communications technologies (X.25, TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, SNMP, SNA/SDLC) as well as BBS and anonymous ftp, WWW and gopher servers (WordPerfect Office, Lotus CC:MAIL, 3COM, LAN Manager, NT Advanced Server, Novell).

United States Department of Agriculture:
Technical Lead Engineeer.  Managed engineers in the development and integration of an AI based Centralized Technical Help Desk based on Novell 3.11 network.  Connectivity to TCP/IP, NFS and X.25 network as well as integration to a NEC NEAX2400 PBX system.   Responsibilities include selection of hardware and software integration components as well as development of overall design to meet requirements. (MS-Windows, Novell, AT&T Unix 4.0, TCP/IP, NFS, X.25, Btrieve, Support Magic, Mahogany, NEC PBX, Voice Mail, T1, FTS2000)

Department of Treasury:
Team Leaderr.  Managed team of engineers in the development of a connectivity solution linking databases on a Unisys 11/84 with an IBM 4380 FEP utilizing UTS40 protocol and a Sequent via TCP/IP.  Responsibilities include selection of hardware and software integration components as well as development of overall design to meet requirements. (MS Windows, Unix, Oracle, Unisys, Sequent, TCP/IP, FDDI, OS/2, LAN Manager)

Developed billing and collections system:
Designed, implemented, and tested Unix/DBMS based system involving the seamless integration of Novell and Unix for the management of the day to day activities of a billing and collections office (Interactive Unix, Informix 4GL,SQL,ESQL).

Reynolds Metals Corporation:
Senior Project Coordinator with overall direction for the design and implementation of factory shop floor systems to manage the processing of plant operations data involving communications to process control devices as well as other plant computer systems operating on diverse hardware/software platforms using the TCP/IP protocol (Unix, Ultrix, VMS, Informix, C).

ICI Pharmaceutical:
Designed, implemented, and documented an order management system for an advanced warehouse automated storage and retrieval system using multi-layered transaction processing methodology. (VMS, Ingres, C).

Proctor & Gamble:
Developed and implemented application for a warehouse materials handling and inventory control system which interfaces to various other plant floor systems (HP/UX, Informix, C).

Armstrong World Industries:
Developed and implemented a Unix based system to determine the optimal way to cut rolls of flooring tile based on known defects from shop floor voice activated inspection stations.   This is an AI implementation based on evaluating hundreds of rules learned by plant floor inspectors (MicroPort UNIX, Informix, C).

Developed software for plant floor automated systems:
Developed and implemented various programs for the operation and sequencing of robotics and hard automation systems (Allen Bradley PLC-2/3, Cincinnati Milicron Robots).
