The number of costumes is now in the hundreds as players can earn money to buy different colors and styles of swimwear for the characters to wear. They have also brought back some of the whimsical costumes.
Lisa was added as a new character and all the guys have been left out. Unless selected as the player's character, Lisa greets the one chosen by the player and is available to be their initial volleyball partner.
The movement of the characters has become much less hectic and more graceful. The backgrounds are still improving with the water flowing onto the beach, the birds flying in the sky, and your feet leaving imprints in the sand as you walk.
