This is probably my favorite fairy card I've drawn yet. You can actually cut out the paperdoll and dress her in the different outfits. I love paperdolls, actually dolls, which is where the inspiration came for this card.

This card was inspired by a dear friend who loves anything to do with beesI tried to incorporate as many bee patterns in this card as possible, which was quite challenging.

I actually do draw subjects than fairies! I loved the color combination on this card though. I do write most of the verses on my cards, just to give myself credit here!
I've been drawing since I was just a young girl, taken art classes and tried all kinds of mediums. My latest adventure is drawing with my computer, using my Wacom drawing tablet and pen and Adobe Photoshop or Painter Classic. Both are fun and much more powerful than I'll ever use. This particular drawing was a quick sketch for a greeting card. I liked it so much I left it as is.
I used to take my boys to the library every week. They loved picking out a lot of books, which we'd read before nap and bedtime. Those memories inspired this card.
