Why? . . . . dreams and musings v.1
why dreams and musings? why another 'angel' site? why more fan fic, fan art, fan *stuff*? why, why, why? (gods i sound like i'm 4 yours old?)
okay let's break this down and answer each question shall we?
Why 'Dreams and Musings'?
the dreams part of it is easy. dreams are necessary to life (quote from Anais Nin) those are words to live by, words that i try and live my life by. we have to have dreams in order to live life. think about it for a moment, would man have ever reached the stars without dreams? ... no he wouldn't have. thing of all the things in your life that you use each day that you would not have if someone hadn't dared to dream. try and imagine a life without dreams .... pretty scary isn't it? so that's why I added dreams.
now as for the musings part of it . . . i've always referred to my writings as "the musings of a hack" (hey if i don't make fun of myself ... someone else will) and they are are my musings, my thoughts, my 'what ifs' if you will. all fanfic is. think about it ... you see an episode of any show and it gets you thinking, musing, 'i wonder what would happen if....?' and voila a fanfic idea is born, if you write it or not is another tale.
so there in a babbling nutshell is why i call this site 'dreams and musings'
as for the other part of this whole why tangent, why another angel site, why more fan*stuff* . . .
why the hell not?
gods ... i mean in my world Joss is God. so i figure why not use the skills i have in html and the like and make a site. so here it is.
as for the fanfic, fanart and such ... i see so much *crap*out there online getting *praise* ... i figure as bad as my stuff is, it's not that bad ... so might as well see if i can get some feedback on it. * (and so much of it IS crap ... it's really quite scary ... i'd love to just rip it all to shreds, but i won't ... at least not on this site)
so that's the whys ....
pretty boring, isn't it? but i figured i had to write it, since i did have someone ask about it.
