Our Church Covenant
In response to the love and guidance of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we do solemnly and joyfully make this covenant with one another. We will, by the power of the Holy Spirit, walk together in Christian love, remembering one another in prayer, sharing each other's joys, and sustaining each other in time of difficulty. We will faithfully meet together to promote the spiritual life of our church and ourselves through worship, the privilege of prayer, and the study of the Scriptures. We will strive to strengthen the mission of the Church by contributing our time, our talents, and our resources. We pledge ourselves to bear witness to the power and love of Jesus Christ in our lives, and to aid in proclaiming the Gospel here and throughout the world. We will be faithful to educate ourselves and our children in the knowledge and love of God so that the Holy Spirit may be seen in all of our relationships, and so that we may live to the glory of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

A Word from our Pastor
We are delighted with your interest in our congregation. Because we are alive and growing, you may be experiencing a unique combination of traits.
As American Baptists, we are evangelical and ecumenical, diverse and inclusive, like a family, reaching out in new and innovative ways, with our emphasis on persons, helping each other grow in spiritual maturity and commitment to Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We hope you experience an authenticity among us. We want to be genuine with each other and God and to be faithful to our calling as followers of Christ. Might your contact with us invite you to an even deeper understanding of your own relation with Christ. It would be our privilege to have even more opportunities for fellowship with you.
In Christ,
Don S. Mier

What We Believe There is an old joke about the Baptists that wherever two of us are gathered, there are sure to be at least three different opinions. Baptists are known for their fierce independence and individuality in their love of the Lord. More important than church creeds or doctrines has been our emphasis on the covenant. The covenant is the basis of church membership for us and is an agreement we enter into with God and one another.

How We Worship
Worship is central to our faith in Christ. When we gather on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. you may feel an electricity in the air. We are excited about being together, bringing together our joys and concerns and anticipate the message that God brings to us. Worship isn't done only by those in the pulpit but is something we all participate in as we sing, pray, bring ourselves, and listen.
Equally important as our worship time together is our worship time alone. We believe regular personal devotions of prayer and reading are equally important for our growth in Christ. There are many opportunities for you to learn and grow with others through the church.

Our View of Service
Worship is not complete unless we are moved to action and service. Service is not just one part of our lives reserved for what we do within the church, but it is a way of life for us. All who believe in Christ are called to be his ministers in their daily lives, in their chosen careers, relationships and daily tasks. The service opportunities within the church-and there are many (teaching, singing in the choir, visitation, committee work, kitchen and office help, and mission projects) are for the higher goal of making the church a place where people may come to be equipped, refreshed and inspired for ministry and service to God and others in their daily lives.
