Charles M. McNulty was the lead singer of The Subterranean Blues Band, which he formed with Lee "Too Cool" Poole and Al Perry in the late 1970's in Tucson. Charles moved to Phoenix in 1981 abandoning the music business for the practice of criminal law. Involvement with the Phoenix Blues Society led to his musical renaissance; forming the Lynwood Flyers with Lee Poole, Jim Elam, Doug Sawyer, Bill Worger, and Doug Lloyd in the early 1990's. Jeff Urias joined the group in '96 establishing the present lineup. Charles' blues heros are Jimmie Peyton, Johnny Rapp, and Bill Tarsha.
