Computer Club

What a month! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Your computer club is pursuing more activities and events in the coming months. We now have a new board and welcome new members Catherine Anderson, Donna Hanson, and Eugene Meade. Officers elected for the 2008 year are:

Treasurer, Janet Harbaugh 

We want to thank former board members Tom Sides, Chuck Krassalt and John Shideler for all of their contributions to the computer dub. They've been great. 

Our January calendar is out, and our general meeting is on FRIDAY, January 4, at 9:00 AM in Farnsworth Hall. Smart Computing will be here to host our program and they always have a very interesting presentation. Hope you can all be there. 

We've decided to hold a potluck for computer club members again this year which will be held on Wednesday, February 20, at 11:00 at Read Hall. Thanks go to Catherine Anderson for volunteering to chair this event. Last year's pot luck was very successful, and we're looking forward to another great event this year. Watch for future announcements on this. 

Please note all of our classes: we now have Word, beginning computers, intermediate computers, genealogy open lab, genealogy classes, Excel programs and Q/ A's. We also have Pat & Claudette from Serving on Line Seniors once or twice a month. Be sure and watch for your e-mails as to the weekly activities from Dee McBain.
