MINUTES OF THE MAY

DCC GENERAL MEETING

May 7, 2008

President Judy Gardner began the May 7, 2008 meeting at 9 a.m.  Since our planned guest, Katie Gertz, was confined at home with the flu, a very interesting program was given by Kelly Grant instead.

 Since neither the Secretary, Kay Hawbaker, or Treasurer, Janet Harbaugh were present, their reports were not given.  Judy did announce that our bank balance was $709.09.

 She also announced that there would be no Genealogy meetings on either the 14^th or the 28^th. Also the beginning Computer classes would soon be closing down for the summer.  John Shideler is still available on Thursdays and the Saturday workshop will still be in session for the rest of the month.

President Judy also announced that we would not be getting Cox due to several unexpected problems.  We will continue with Quest. 

Kelly Grant demonstrated her Creative Memories program which was very interesting.  Annie Province and Joan Nipple won door prizes awarded by Kelly.

 The 50-50 drawing was won by Doug Snover and he turned his $4.50 winnings back to the Club.

 The next General meeting will be held at Read Hall on June 4^th at 9 a.m.
