Dreamland Quilters
We are beginning our seventh year as the Dreamland Quilters Club. Several of our members have moved out or gone back home to be closer to family, but new members have been added so our membership stays around twenty, give or take a little.
Betty Sharpy and Ruthaleen McCall took a class at Zoe's Trunk for the "4-Patch Stacked Posies" which will be the pattern for our raffle quilt. We are hoping the quilt top is well underway with a March target date. We will also have several consolation prizes in our raffle.
Our members not only make quilts, but they did a great job of preparing a surprise birthday luncheon for Lela Davison in January. Lots of food and a happy time to celebrate with a fantastic lady was enjoyed by everyone.
We invite any of you to come to our meetings every Monday afternoon at Farnsworth Hall at 1 p.m. Perhaps you too will become interested and will have a new hobby.
