This section features one-of-a-kind, hand-woven Navajo rugs created
by both accomplished weavers and upcoming young weavers. Each
rug is a unique piece of art.
All of these artists are either friends or relatives of mine.
Many of these weavers live in remote areas of the Navajo Indian
reservation and do not have the resources to market their hand-woven
Navajo rugs.
I have purchased some of the rugs below directly from weavers and the rest are consigned by individual artists. All rugs are for sale.
If you are interested please contact me by e-mail. Remember to identify the name of the rug, the weaver's name and
the catalog number.

Navajo Flag Rug 8'w x 5'h

Even the Navajo weavers have been affected by September 11. Arlene wove the flag to show her support and to challenge herself to weave all 50 stars. Picture of the loom in Arlene's living room. The loom took up half of her living room. In order to finish the top part of the weaving she had to stack plastic milk crates on top of her kitchen chairs.
