Jay Wilson is my father. I was so fortunate to have him as my father. He taught me how to be an honorable person. He also instilled in me a sense of self worth. He taught us by example. He was an extremely intelligent man. He was a true hero. He showed his heroism in the Fillipines during World War II with the 149th Infantry, 38th Division, Company I, and by his every day actions. He taught me that there is nothing a person can't learn if he sets his mind to it. Although he passed away, he is still guiding me every day of my life. He was my friend and I miss him so.
