Leo Sweet Leo
This last sleeve is crawling along, but it will be done by Christmas. I plan on finally finishing Leo for Jered by the time it starts getting really chilly here. Which, the way things are going now, might be never. It is 78 degrees and muggy today. It's raining, which is a nice change, but it feels more like August than October. Seriously, will it ever get cool? October is supposed to be at least a little chilly, right? Give me snow sleet and hail any day over this muggy mess.
Yesterday I had the day off, and I've got Monday and Tuesday off too for our fall break. I'm getting three new clients next week, all three of them on Monday, so I'm excited about that. It is a little overwhelming though. Next week I have one midterm, and the following week I have two more. It's hard to believe that the semester is almost half over. Hard to believe, but a relief at the same time.
We got a wedding present yesterday from my Uncle who is stationed in Korea. He sent us a gorgeous Korean jewelry box, that has a mirror that pops out of the top of the box. It reminds me a little of the box in Jumanji. I'll have to post some pictures.
I worked two repeats on Madli this week which is pathetic, I know. I hope to get a few more done this weekend and then finish her up before my mom's birthday in November. Then, hopefully I'll be able to start another one for Jered's mom and have it done by Christmas.
I went shopping yesterday because I ran out of shampoo, and I spent about 20 minutes trying to find a moisturizing shampoo that wouldn't break the bank and didn't smell like feces. I finally found an Awapuhi shampoo by Suave that I picked up and all was well. Until I took my shower this morning. Yeah, in all my searching, I accidentally picked up conditioner. I ALWAYS do this. I swear. I tell myself, check the label, check the label, and I always check. And I had checked with the other shampoos that I had held in my hand and considered buying, but somehow I slipped up. So now I have yet another bottle of conditioner and no shampoo.
I should start a collection.
