No record for "Kristina" has been found by that name (is it the missing child or maybe Mette Catherine Holm, born in September 1864?) And the actual records show that Birthe Holm, who died at birth in1871, would have been the 22nd child. Caroline was born in March 1870 - she would have been the 21st child.

Tina Holm, while searching through copies of churchbooks and other vital records for the Southern Jutland area of Denmark in the archives in Copenhagen, found and translated the data which follows.
From the churchbook for the Town of Ballum, Ballum Parish, Tonder County, Southern Jutland, Denmark: Theodor Holm born July 2, 1868 in "Vesterende", Ballum, Tonder, Denmark. (Vesterende is on the west coast of Denmark very close to the water and north of the border with Germany - click to enlarge image) He was the son of a master smith and merchant, Peder Andersen Holm and his wife Anke Marie Lindberg. He was baptized August 9, 1868.
Going backwards in the same churchbook for 1823 - 1859 marriages she found: Peder Andersen Holm, 29 years old was married on October 10, 1844 in Ballum Church to Anke Marie Lindberg, age 17.
Also from the Brons churchbook: Lars Willadsen died on February 26, 1858 in Brons at the age of 77 and 1/3 years. He was the son of Willads Olesen of "Holmgard".
From the churchbook for Brons Parish, Tonder County, Jutland, Denmark:
Peder Andersen Holm, born April 19, 1815 and baptized May 28, 1815 in the church.
