The Airfix 1;144 Saturn V kit has a number of Eagle bits. Eagle One has the Lunar Module behind the nosecone on the top. The detailing on these models looks great on film but in person reportedly it isn't too neat. The details on the side pods is unique yet easily dupicated with resin as the disk things on the diagonal vertical surfaces are in this pic. The rear engine incerted piece comes from the Airfix kit. I was mistaken and had the Monogram kit at first. Some of the pieces could do but not the disk on the pods and the Engine part. The bits of detailing on the sides here on this pod are carved from styrene plastic and pieces of silver solder. I'll use cast copies of the Airfix parts on the next Eagle I build.
