An avid recycler, Elyse has been known to pull over at the side of a road to pick up a "beautiful reject". She has a custom carpenter who works with her to turn these “finds” into one-of-a-kind furnishings. One purchase of an antique porch railing became lamps and candlesticks that were truly individual!

Specialties include children’s toy boxes – also suitable for storage – from antique twin headboards. These double as settees and the lid will not drop shut on little fingers. Also fun are her coatracks made from bedposts. Children have been known to carry these around the house – they love them!
