Astrophotography by Don Spencer Welcome to my astrophotography pages. I first coupled a camera to my LX200 back in the late Spring/early Summer of 2002 to capture the Comet Ikeya-Zhang. As luck would have it, this 45 minute, unguided photo has turned out to be one of the best I have taken. Some times, it's better to be lucky than good! Since then, I have taken quite a few more pictures, some good, most not so good, but all have been a major source for the learning curve. I hope you will follow me on my journey through the heavens as I climb the latter in the wonderful world of Astrophotography. Don Spencer |
