Eric
Emerson worked in film and radio before making the leap into the
ever popular web development field. Combining his design, media
and marketing skills he created his own company, Emerson Creative.
Emerson Creative combines Eric's talents and years of experience
with industry experts to create collaborative web sites for local
businesses in the Southern New England area.
Alongside developing his own business, Eric has pursued teaching
on the professional and collegiate level through the Rhode Island
School of Design's Continuing Education program. Based on hundreds
of student accolades he is pursuing the path of creating more
of his own personal work as he aspires to teach full time on the
collegiate level.
Fueling his desire to teach is the passion to educate students
in the relationship of Mythology & Technology. How can stories
of the past be integrated with technologies of today? How can
fantasies of the future expand our present vision?
Born in Newport, RI, he graduated from Rhode Island College in
1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications along with extensive
film, radio, and media experience. He now lives in Barrington,
RI with his wife Jennifer, and soon-to-be one year old daughter,
Freya Sophia.
