This 38 ton Baldwin product was originally built for the Bridgton & Saco River R.R. up in Maine. Caption: J.D. HILLIARD Steamer No. 3. Built by the Amoskeag Locomotive Works in Manchester, N.H. in 1878, builders No. 693. The engine was built for Provincetown, Mass., and was the only steam fire engine used by a fire department on Cape Cod. The engine is owned by the National Fire Museum, Inc. of Newton, Mass., and on display at the Edaville R.R. Museum.

Each year from November to January, Edaville is decorated for the Christmas Season with hundreds of lights and displays. Engine No. 7 is one of 5 locomotives used to haul the trains over a 5½ mile route on the Edaville R.R., South Carver, Mass.

Caption: EDAVILLE R.R. Engine No. 7 with her train traveling through the cranberry bogs at Edaville in South Carver, Mass. No. 7 is one of 5 operating 2 foot gauge locomotives at Edaville. Originally built by the Baldwin Locomotive Co. in 1913 for the Bridgeton & Saco River R. R. up in Maine, it was saved by Ellis D. Atwood along with sister engine No. 8 and brought to Edaville in 1946. Here it has been running on a 5½ mile line, and is maintained better than when it worked up in Maine.
