| The referee coordinator will do his best to accommodate the referees, so they may watch | ||||||||||

| Important guidelines and notes for the referee team | ||||||||||
| 1) | A coach or assistant coach of two teams playing in the same weekend can not referee for any team. | |||||||||
| 2) | A coach or assistant coach of one team can referee but only for their own team's credit. | |||||||||
| 3) | Parents of players can referee for one team only. The tournament schedule constraints mean parents | |||||||||
| may have to referee during their child's game, though we will try to avoid this if possible. | ||||||||||
| 4) | Referee teams may be 'broken up' to provide the best qualified referees for the different game levels. | |||||||||
| This is a chance to meet referees from other regions and to make new friends. | ||||||||||
| 5) | Referees should show up at the referee tent, or field marshal tent at remote locations, at least 30 | |||||||||
| minutes before start of their assignment, in full uniform and ready to referee. Full uniform means proper | ||||||||||
| referee socks, shorts, jersey, shoes plus whistle, clock, cards. Referees who show up late or not in full | ||||||||||
| uniform will forfeit their assignment. No exceptions. | ||||||||||
