Special Price: $150.00 Mist, a silver Tabby Rumpie Manx, is a 1 year old spayed female. She is a sweet, gentle cat who is slightly shy. Mist needs male cat companionship, she likes to rub against their bodies. From CATalog by Dr. Bruce Fogle, "The lack of a tail is this breed's most obvious visible characteristic, but its "bunny-hop" gait is just as unique. If there is any single word that describes the Manx it is "round" round-bodied, round-eyed, round-rumped and round-headed. Slow-maturing Manx come in a huge range of colors and patterns. The rumpie is without a tail or just a dimple at the base of the spine. They make excellent pets, with retiring but friendly personalities." Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you. |

She loves to curl up on the couch next to you or on your lap while you pet her. She will even lick your hand if she is cleaning herself. Special Price: $150.00 Sammy is a 7 year old neutered male Cockapoo who is up to date on his vaccines. Sammy is a very friendly, loving dog whose owner can not keep him because she feels she cannot give him the time and attention that he deserves. Sammy has not really been around other dogs, cats or children but from my short time with him so far he's seems very friendly towards other dogs and seems interested in cats. He is a very affectionate 14 pound bundle of joy. Sammy is very happy to meet new people and seems as though he will adjust to a new home very nicely. He likes to go for a walk and is good riding in the car, although he has not had much experience with either. His owner has toilet trained him on peepee pads but he will also go outside. If you are looking for a well-mannered quiet companion to spend time with, Sammy is the dog for you. Sammy will be shown on Sunday adoption hours or by special appointment only since he will continue to live with his owner until a new forever home can be found. You will need to get in touch with Tammy in order to see this dog. Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you. |

ADOPTION PENDING Special Price: $200.00 Roger, not quite a 2 year old neutered male is an English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is up to date on his shots, heartworm negative. He is 15 inches tall and only weighs 45 lbs. He needs to put on about 5 more lbs. He is the best of both breeds. Because he has the head of the American Staffordshire Terrier, he does not have the breathing problems of the English Bulldog. Life expectancy for the English Bulldog is 8 years on the average but the American Staffordshire will live 9-15 years. To see him is to adore him. As his body (not his tail) is like an English Bulldog you can click here to find out more information about the English Bulldog. We have found Roger to be the perfect pet. He is very sweet and smart. We just gave him his name and he comes to it; he also sits on command. Roger is a fabulous dog to walk. I am a 70 year old woman and have no trouble with him at all. Besides I enjoy watching him wiggle as he walks. I really could keep going about how precious he is, but you will have to see for yourself. The staff at Greenwich Bay Hospital also adore him. Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you. |

Special Price $300.00 for both Must go together Lucky and Lucy 5 1/2 year old Italian Greyhounds, are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested. They are a lot of fun; wonderful for walking and they walk well together, enjoy being on your lap and getting kissed and hugged. Lucy has a mild medical problem. Because she is epileptic, she needs to be on phenobarbitol twice a day. This is a fairly inexpensive medication and she is good about taking it. They do need a lot of walking exercise. Please do not consider adopting them unless you have the time for this. This is a pet for a quiet household where there are no lively children, although they do get along well with behaved children. These darling babies are already housebroken but any dog coming into a new environment should be treated as if he/she is NOT housebroken. You should take the dogs out often, watch closely and limit freedom initially until the dogs are familiar with your environment and schedule. The use of a crate is recommended. Special Price: $200.00 Joey, an 11 month old neutered male is heartworm and lyme negative and has had all of his shots. He is very sweet and loving. He is a puppy who loves to be held, petted, adored and will sit on your lap for long periods of time while being kissed and massaged. Joey is people oriented, not much of a hunting dog, but he is an escape artist due to his need to follow a scent. He is a precious darling and will make a wonderful pet. No children under 7 years old. Beagle Reminder: The door is perhaps the most dangerous part of your house - many beagles simply pop out and into the street when someone comes to the door. Consider baby-gating to keep your beagle safely away from tempation. Adoption Information: Procedures, Directions, Cost and Items to Bring with you. |

Adoption Pending Henry, a 14 month old neutered black Lab., lived in a crate for most of his life. He is up to date on all his vaccines and has tested negative for heartworm and lyme disease. Henry walks well on a leash particularly if it is attached to a prong collar. He will sit, give a paw and lie down on command. He is very smart, eager to please and will do anything for a treat. Henry is a lot of fun and will bring a great deal of laughter into your life. Because he is so energetic and needs lots of exercise, he will not only need a fenced in yard but lots of long walks. He needs a lot of love and someone who is stronger willed than he is. He is too energetic for children under 10 years of age.
