New Equipment: For those of you who always dread the visual field test at the end of the examination, we have a new instrument called the MATRIX.  

This new visual field machine uses advanced technology called Frequency Doubling Technolodgy (FDT) to look for visual field defects.  These defects can be due to glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, brain tumors, strokes or other medical issues. Instead of flashing lights this instrument uses shimmering bars that stimulate a different part of the retina.  It has the capability to detect glaucoma sooner and only takes on average 35 seconds to perform!  We hope that this makes your examinations less tedious and allows us to find probelms sooner.
Proclear Introduces New Lenses
Finally we have some new lenses to go with monthly replacement of the original Proclear lenses.  Proclear was designed to specifically fight dry eyes while wearing contact lenses. We now introduce the new Proclear 1-Day, the Proclear Astigmatism Multifocal and the 2-week replacement Biomedics XC using the proclear material.  Schedule your appointment to see if one of these new lenses is right for you.
