Sue and I were married in 1974.
We have 3 children.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, our
oldest daughter worked for several years then decided to go to law school. She is working on
a joint program with two universities to get a law
degree and a Masters degree in international relations and
has enjoyed two very stimulating internships. The first was in Afghanistan
in 2007 studying one aspect of the reconstruction of the justice system and the
second was at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the
Hague this past summer (2008).

Our son graduated with a degree in
Electrical Engineering from UCSD and works for a major telecommunication company here in San Diego. In his
spare time he enjoys studying recording engineering. He is married
to a very talented artist and she is a
welcome addition to our family. Her work can be viewed on the

After graduating from Johns Hopkins, our
youngest daughter began studying at the University of Chicago Pritzker School
of Medicine. She has completed here
first two years of medical school and is
now pursuing a PhD in neuro-sciences after which she will
finish medical school. She celebrated passing the medical board exams this
summer by taking a trip to Italy. |
