A great flashback 80s party has to have the right music- New Wave, Punk, Funk, Ska, Disco, New Romantic, Goth, R&B, Synthpop, Hair Metal, Pop and Rock and Roll. The 80s gave us big hair, big phones and big attitudes. And some of the best music ever!
"The Last American Virgin", "Fast Times At Ridgemont High", "Valley Girl", "Footloose", "Pretty In Pink" and "The Breakfast Club", were the soundtracks for growing up in the eighties. Bands like Simple Minds, The Psychedelic Furs and New Order ruled the airwaves. Some little known band called U2 was beginning to make a name for themselves. And you weren't cool unless you used tons of hair mouse, had a new CD player and knew how to pogo.
