Greg, David, Bob and Jack
after arriving at the Pacific Paradise Hotel in El Cuco.

Unfortunately the nose on Greg's board was broken off in airline transit - Time for the ding repair kit.

Lorenzo and Greg have the board fixed quickly.

I shaped my first board for the trip and added the "Tiki Toes" logo my bro Jeff sent me. :)

This was the van that took us around - shown here after we 1st arrived at Punta Flores.

Surf Breaks:

On the "Wild East" coast, we surfed 2 breaks: Punta Flores and Punta Mango. Punta Mango was only accessable from a boat.

The next day we surfed at Punta Mango:

The boat ride to Punta Mango took 20 minutes as we headed West from Punta Flores

The wave at Punta Mango was really fast and hollow. Tube rides were caught here.

"Boat Man" Chepe Luis
Chepe had Punta Mango wired and had the best tube I saw there. Too
bad we didn't have a picture of that ride.

Back on land:

Soccer Amigo - This friendly local boy had good soccer skills and smiled all the time except for this picture.
