BIG YEAR FOR BURN RUN

Big thanks to all that helped on the 2007 Burn Camp Run. Close to
$50,000 was raised for the burn camp kids. Great job everyone.

BIG DATES FOR '07

Boys, 2007 has a few dates we should write down . Monday JUNE
18th is the annual burn camp Ride to Prescott. July 6-8 is the W&F
western Rally in Hollister . August 7 of Sturgis Bike week , is the
W&F world Rally in Hill City. Sept 15 weekend , The Firefighters
memorial run in Denver/Col Springs . We will be sending more info out
as the dates get closer . But put these dates down, if u could be

Boys , As I read the editorial page Saturday , I see another
restrictive California law being brought up again. This time the
writer Susan Gerard (not sure if she has ever been on a mc) writes,
viewing overcrowding in (illegal laden) emergency rooms would
alleviated , with a mandatory helmut law. I guess you can spin any
statistics to advance your ideas. I have always gave the choice of
waring a helmut to the rider, and would never down play safety
equipment , but it looks like another non-enthusiast wants to put
another restrictive law in the books and take another choice away from

Rocky point rally 2006

Boys , 9 W&F Riders road down to RP rally thursday nov. 9 . We all had
a blast , Stan"Burnout" Secord seemed to have the best time , with 3am
being the norm, to get back to the ranch. Everyone enjoyed the perfect
weather, The ballet, and lots of buffoonery around the 3 day rally. A
few pics will be up on the site asap. Burgie

Boys , We had a fun Meeting/ride sat 28 @ Rockbottom Brewery arrowhead.
10 riders from wind and fire #113 road to all RB's in the valley for a
poker run . Director Steve won best hand and $150 beer card , so make
sure he buys next time your with Steve at RB. Burgie got third with 3
- 5's(sorry SK , no 3rd king) . The club made a nice donation to there
Charity that helps the needy , and everyone had a great time.

Arrowhead / 7600 w. bell @ 8am . There will be a ride after meeting ,
you can also join in with the hogs&Dogs ride. Also Deal downtown also

AUG, Meeting

Boys, we just had our Aug meeting , a few things were talked about. We
will be having Ride/Meetings this fall . Open for suggestions on ,
where and when to ride . Weather is getting better , anywhere is great.
Thinking of a ride up the coronado trail(highway #191), october 3/4,
anyone interested contact me or Jeff Shucker for info. This ride goes
from phx-globe-safford-alpine (overnite) back to phx on #260 or
wherever. Also Rockypoint Rally(leaving nov 9 , am) is coming up in
November, bikes,beach.tacos,gua-gua, what else could you want. ALSO,
we are designing a new tee shirt, and are open for suggestions. I
designed the last one, My daughter was the graffic artist that put it
together The guys at the last meeting thought of a few things,we are
looking at. Dave"Smoke" a retired ff from Cal. living in crown king
during the winter, is on our e-mail list , so hope to see him at the
next get together. Also, we might be riding on the sept 11
ride(sunday), I was planing on being out of town , but the ride would
be great. New Director Steve Kinkade , is planning on leaving from sta,
50 around 7-7:30(sunday) and heading to the casino . Put a flag on
your bike that day. Steve has a lot of ideas on things to do this new
year ,, Steve or someone will send everyone a e-mail about up coming
meetings and times. Also check Ride and Events page on the web site.

Boys, We will be meeting at B. Stubbs HD on 13850 n. Cave Creek road ,
around 8-8:30 for the ride up thru some great country. Should be a good
group , as we have been contacted by some out of town w&f riders. Look
for the red bikes and donut eaters. Last year we were parked on the
west side of the lot. See everyone there. Also anyone wanting new

March 18,Sat at buddy stubbs Judy Burghout ,Joann Norwood and Stan
Secord sold tees for the club , to raise money for the burn camp. Sid
and burgie set up before heading to a important Golf meeting in
Laughlin. They sold lots of tees and did a great job on a cold day.
Also we made some super contacts on prospective donors to #113

cookoff and fun day with -FF'S vs PD -Mayor -other notables will be
there . We are setting up a tee
shirt booth to sell Burn Camp and club tees. Stan Secord ,Judy B. ,and
Joann N. will be there helping out in the booth. Come on by and say hi,
should be a fun day for all . Sid and I are picking up new stock of

Aaron Hall still kickin'

Friday ,, Sid and I went over to county Hosp, and visited Aaron . He
was in good spirits for just having his nose "Re-set" and his tib-fib,
"stiched" closed . Aaron has had a lot of procedures , and is a tough
guy as we all know. He said that this will be a reason to build his
flathead up , he has been wanting to do. He will be transfered to Good
Sam hospital in a few days for therapy ,, probably for 2 weeks , and
then home. We all know that Aaron will come out of this in great shape.
We all look forward to seeing on his Green Road King some day soon .
