Boys , As I read the editorial page Saturday , I see another
restrictive California law being brought up again. This time the
writer Susan Gerard (not sure if she has ever been on a mc) writes,
viewing overcrowding in (illegal laden) emergency rooms would
alleviated , with a mandatory helmut law. I guess you can spin any
statistics to advance your ideas. I have always gave the choice of
waring a helmut to the rider, and would never down play safety
equipment , but it looks like another non-enthusiast wants to put
another restrictive law in the books and take another choice away from
you and I . Jerry B
