• one-on-one attention with a fully certified, trained, and experienced teacher
• assessment of skills in a variety of academic areas
• consultations with parents regarding a plan of action and steps for a successful journey in a specific academic area
• tutor will travel to the tutee's home and conduct all lessons, consultations, and assessments within the child's home atmosphere (or other comfortable, compatible area for learning)

Ellery Clark Tutoring & Consulting offers tutoring in a variety of academic areas which are important for each child's academic success. Such academic areas include:

• basic reading skill development
• basic reading assessment
• basic math instruction (concepts, and "tricks" for fact mastering)
• basic math assessment
• language arts skills (composition writing, grammar)
• handwriting instruction
• vocabulary development
• computer instruction
• individualized learning needs
• private group tutoring sessions

The recommended tutoring time for one child is one hour. Within this time the child will receive individualized instruction on a specific academic area. The cost for a one hour session includes the cost of travel, assessment materials, and teaching materials.

*additional travel fee may be added if in North County or far East County (past Alpine)
*If additional supplies are needed for an extended tutoring program, a budget will be discussed beforehand, and all purchased materials will receive ownership of the tutee.
