is my ham radio call sign. My name is Angelica or Angie. My husband, Chris has been a ham radio
operator since 1979, call sign - N7JND. I was licensed in October
2006. The FCC assigned me the call sign of KE7JHX. Say it a
couple of times. What a tongue twister. So I went searching
for a vanity call. I have a tattoo of a heart on fire with a lightning
bolt going through it. Hence my nickname, Emberfire and screen name for
over 20 years.
My
husband even bought a personalized license plate, EMBER, for my truck.
So when I found N7EMB on the vanity call list, it was a sign. I
believe in signs. So, in the ham world I am known as N7EMB, the other half of N7JND.
Now about me. I turned 53 this year. I can't believe it, where have these years gone? I have a great life and hope to continue this path. I have faced many challenges but with a positive attitude, the love and support of my great family and my faith in God, I have gotten through those times. I believe a positive attitude is followed by positive actions. I believe the same for negativity. So I keep that word out of my vocabulary. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
