FRAUD WARNING
ANOTHER FEDERAL POLICE PATCH HAS BEEN FRAUDULENTLY REPRODUCED!
F.B.I - Federal Bureau of Investigation

The fraudulent patch is shown above, compared to the real thing. G-Man Emblems, owned by retired FBI Agent Wayne Alexander, who makes quality emblems, made the real patch. The patch is number 1920 in The Encyclopedia of Federal Law Enforcement Patches.

On the fraudulent patch, the blue twill is darker when compared to the twill at the same location on the real patch.

The easy way to tell the real patch from the fraudulent one is on the back of the patch. In the center of the patch UNDER the plastic is a round label which says

"GManEmblem@aol.com ©"

On the round label is the number 1/300 hand written in blue ink. The color of the back of the real patch is white, while the darker blue twill fabric shows through on the reproduction. The reproduction patch is limper than the real patch. G-Man Emblems recently made a new version of the patch for the agency. The new version uses a different font, again bears the G-Man label, and is a run of 300 written in different color ink. The new patch twill is about the same color as the repro shown here. None are real with out the seal!

This reproduction patch came from Texas, but was probably made in Taiwan.
