Empty Bottle's Bio |

Tommy started playing the guitar back in 1989. He has been playing the local music scene since 1990 with different original bands most notable Danny’s Idols in the early 90’s. If you have seen a guy in a local band playing an orange guitar over the years it was probably him. Tommy has a passion for music and continues to write any chance he gets. In 2001 he got a call from one of his former original band mates and current Empty Bottle bass player Chris Gosnold, aka “Goz”. He came down to meet with the band and the rest is history. Since then, Tommy has continued to help raise the bar for Empty Bottle with his crazy guitar antics. We also told Tom he’s the sound engineer for the band but we all know most of its luck. Don’t tell him that though, we like to make him feel important.
Goz has been playing bass for 20 years and writing for almost as long. Playing guitar and singing came much later and was really just the natural progression in writing for him. Over the years Goz has been part of the New England music scene in both original and cover bands. After a small hiatus from the music scene back in the 90’s, Goz was introduced to Empty Bottle. Since then, Goz has helped define Empty Bottle with his unique vocal and playing abilities.
Don got his first drum kit in ’78.
The biggest gig at that time was throwing his Mom’s timing off as
she played the piano. Don played on and off through the early 80’s, but
put down the sticks until the 1995 when he was invited by Chris Powers
to make some noise playing a couple times a week in his basement. That
excuse to drink turned into Empty Bottle. Don has played in the band
since 1998, recently returning from a year long break to start a
business and pursue a dream of playing in the NBA.
