THE STORYTELLER

by

LaResa Turnbow

Man of age,  Man of Light. Sat at campfire’s evening light.

Spoke of truths shared by lives. Spoke of morals, fathers,

Sons, mothers, wives.

Feed your neighbor, feed a friend. Give a beggar a helping hand.

Live in honor, hearts will mend. The life of a giver never ends.

Fireflies spin with the wind.

Train our sons to be brave. Loving, cherish your Mothers gave.

Treat our women sweet and dear.

Always dry her warmest tear. Share your love around her grow.

A tiny flower wilts in snow.

Daughters stand, be wise be kind. Be not harsh and don’t be blind.

Though trials are many with sands of time.

Be tender, thoughtful, let wisdom guide.

For God entrusted you, with His mankind.

Come share your stories, Our Elder Men.
