The Isla Vista Peace
Course is located in Isla Vista, California, just west of Santa Barbara.
The course is a short nine hole par 27. It begins at the Sueno Community
Orchard on Sueno road, and ends in Estero Park. The 9 Mach II baskets
Were installed in early 2000. The course is kept in very good condition
by the "grounds keepers" from the parks department. There
are tee signs for every tee as well as signs pointing the way through
the course.
Most of the holes even have multiple tees, Recreational, Advanced and
Professional. Most of the advanced tees are even elevated slightly. While
the tee signs show the Rec & Adv tees and their distances, the Pro
tees are not shown. They are marked only by a landscaping brick buried
in the ground and painted gold. Once you know what to look for they can
be easily found behind the Adv tee on every hole except #3.
When using the course, please respect the efforts of the parks department "Groundskeepers" and tread lightly on the nicely manicured landscaping.

There are restrooms between the buildings East of the basket for hole three. Drinking water is usually available from the drinking fountain near the basketball courts.
Other things that can be found in Estero Park are basketball courts and a small playground for children. There are a number of picnic tables throughout the course and at least one has a barbeque.
