Our
purpose is to provide aid, assistance and support to those who are
recovering from their experiences with the International Churches of
Christ/Boston Movement/Discipling Ministries. This support may
take the form of a sympathetic ear, an encouraging word, providing
information, or aiding someone in obtaining whatever additional help
they may feel they need. In this way, we seek to provide a
non-judgmental, understanding fellowship whose goal is to help one
another.
At the same time, it is not our purpose to attack,
persecute, nor cause harm to any current members of the
International Churches of Christ. We realize that many current
members are simply doing their best to follow God in the ways that
they have been taught. We further believe and understand, that
reaching out in love can accomplish far more than judgmental
attitudes that have hurt many who have already left the ICC and are
in the process of
recovery.
As a result, we will, to the best of our ability, hold to
the highest ideals of ethics and honesty in our interactions with
former and current members of the International Churches of
Christ.
