Whose invited?

Anyone wishing to explore their creative and imaginative Self, including Expressive Arts professionals who want to enhance their skills, Educators, Therapists, and Health care professionals who want to learn how to use and apply the expressive arts in their practices. (CEUs are available.(MFT / LCSW / NBCC / TEXAS LPC)

 

How much does it cost?

We offer discount pricing for early registration. Please refer to our pricing schedule by going to the Registration Page.

 

Are meals included in the price?

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are not included (except on Sunday - A Continental Breakfast is included) You'll have time to explore area restaurants during the lunch and dinner breaks. On Saturday, a box lunch is available for $32 (with advance registration only). Since there will be a Book Reading & Signing with Flor Fernández Barrios on Saturday from 1:00-2:30, you may want to reserve the box lunch when you register.

 

When & Where will the conference be held ?

Thursday, October 5th through Sunday, October 8th, 2006. (You can choose to attend every day, 2 or 3 individual days or just one day) It will be held at the The Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach.

Where should I stay?

We have a list of Hotels, including the Fairmont Hotel, that offer discounted rates especially for the conference attendees on the Accomodations Page. All are conveniently located near The John Wayne/Orange County Airport and offer free shuttles to and from the airport.

 

Why Be a Volunteer?

As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to engage in an enthusiastic environment and work in community with other like-minded people. Each volunteer’s contribution ensures a successful weekend. We offer our volunteers a reduced registration fee, an opportunity to meet and assist Workshop Presenters—many who are prominent professionals in the field—and, to network with others interested in the expressive arts. There will be a volunteer room with complementary snacks.
