Treat yourself and all your friends that are Harry Potter Fans, Hobbit Fans or Anything Fantasy Fans to a special gift.
Each is filled with amazing detail and imagination.

All pieces are fired to 2000 degrees and use food safe glazes. They are technically oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, but a fast temperature change can cause thin parts, like horns, to spontaneously break because of uneven stresses, and harsh chemicals will eventually damage the surface.

Dragons!
Every Dragon I make is a unique piece with its own personality. All the mugs have food safe glazes. They are technically microwave and dishwasher safe, but a fast temperature change can cause thin parts, like horns, to spontaneously break because of uneven stresses, and harsh chemicals will eventually damage the surface. Heating liquids before pouring into the mug and hand washing is therefore recomended for a longer life span.

Castles
It is fun to imagion what Rapunzel's Tower might look like. I decided the back of the tower needed something to make it interesting, so I added a dragon. It isn't in the story, but it is fun. Ever wonder about the reason dragons like to keep a fair maiden instead of eating her? It is quite simple if you think about it - Eat her and you get one skinny meal.... Keep her and you get an endless supply of nice meaty heros!
I was inspired by a Renaissance door in a garden wall when I made Thor's Castle. It can be made into a night-light easily. Light can shine out both the top and the windows. I made a little notch in the base to allow for a cord to go through. I often make my castles and towers that way because I like to stuff them with some little lights at Christmas. I added a quarter and a ruler to the picture so you can get the feel for the actual size.

Charms, Wards and Familiars
OK all you Harry Potter Fans get your genuine hand crafted Charms and Wards!

These twisted, twirls of clay look good strung on a ribbon or chain around your neck - and who knows? Maybe they just might help you focus your charm on the good things you want and ward off the the things you don't. The price is certainly right.
They are shown on a half inch grid. Choose the one you want by row and number and I will send it to you on a ribbon, ready to wear. There are no guarantees, but I have been told by past customers they love them whether they work or not.

Scary Halloween Pumpkins
I got this idea from John Pelico's Killer Pumpkin Page. We worked together and came up with this. If you put a light under The Pumpkin Patch, The pumpkin and the tree glow, and you can see little glowing eyes apear in the knots of the roots. Very Spooky.

Wouldn't it be fun to live in these cute little tree houses? One comes complete with a tiny garden. The goblet is useable - made with food safe glazes. The other would be nice to hold potpourri or just look at!

Fantasy Chess Sets

I have now made two Fantasy Chess Sets. They are both made by hand, using no kits or molds. They began life as a lump of clay. Both Chess Sets are made of ceramic.

The first one shown has an undulating ceramic chess board complete with castles on hills, trees and a cave. After all, chess is war - and war is never played on a level field... This Chess Board may truely be unique. I searched the web, and couldn't find any chess boards that were not flat. (I made an error when I colored the black and white squares on the chess board. As you can see, to play with white on your right - you would have to go across the field, not play as set up in this picture. Many games have been played on this board and all players chose to set up the play as shown, though some admitted it was confusing)

 Handmade Ceramic Fantasy Chess Men

The Chess Board (above) was too small to make the figures for the chess set the way I wanted them, so I made another. I could not make the Chess Board for this set due to size restrictions on the kiln I use. Each piece has a 2 inch base, so it needs a large board. I haven't come up with a price for this one yet, but I will consider all suggestions. If you are interested in purchasing this set, more, larger pictures are available. If you live in the Roanoke VA area, you can see them and play a game! Email me to set up a time fantasy-ceramics@cox.net.
