Jimmy Ray's MAME Arcade Project

As a kid I'd always wanted a full sized arcade cabinet.  I even mounted my Atari 400 into my dresser to make it look like an arcade.

Twenty years later, my wife and I are building our dream house. We decide to create a small game room.  Really just a place for the kids to play without messing up the living room.  It's Just big enough for our air hockey table and maybe a small table and chairs.  What's a game room without an arcade.  I started searching ebay and the classifieds for used arcades.  All the games that I recognized were priced way out of our range.  While doing a search in google for arcades I discovered MAME and all of it's possibilities.  Why only have 1 game when you can have them all?  At that time we were in the middle of selling our old house and building our new one.  For a period of 4 months my family and I were homeless and living with my Mom.  With 6 people living in a very small house, I needed a project to fill my time.  That's when I decided to build my own cabinet from scratch.  This website is dedicated to my mother and to my wife.  With out their support this project would not have been possible.  Sorry Mom for all the sawdust on your plants.

TimeWarp was the one that started it all for me.  This page now contains information on several of my ongoing projects.  Whenever I update the page I will put in an update below.  If you have any questions or comments about my page or any of my projects I would love to hear you, send me an email.

Thanks, FatBasta...
