"Ant Orb" is a short film in which ants encounter an unexpected visitor, a glass sphere. The optical effects of the sphere make for bizarre distortions the ants' activity.
Four recent digital prints are shown below, with links to pages with larger images and more information. All four are black-and-white digital artwork constructed by graphically iterating an arrangement of a small portion of a photograph of a tree.
This "Fractal Crystal" is a physical 3-dimensional model of a fractal object created by a simple arrangment of cubes.
