 Tunia's Travels

Tunia is traveling from sea to shining sea,
Learning new things each day from all that she will see.
She left her home and headed west to travel all around.
Let's see where she is bound.

To California, across the states she'll go.
Then down to Texas and back up to Ohio.
She'll cross the Mississippi and the Rocky Mountains, too.
America on view!

Rhode Island is her home. She loves her tiny state.
And though she's happy there, she thought it would be great
To visit other gardens and to have a holiday.
So Tunia's on her way.

Tunia will make new friends in schools along the way.
She'll read, write, and learn with them in classrooms far away.
And then she'll come back home and share the things that she has done.
Her trip will be great fun!
