The Fred Heutte Center is offering a bus tour to The Philadelphia Flower Show again. We did this last year and it was such a success that we’re offering it again! For those of you who went with us last year, it will be a grand repeat performance of last year. We had excellent food & accommodations and everyone enjoyed themselves at the largest flower show in the USA! We have a great tour package that can’t be beat! Unlike other tours being advertised we are going to be there the SECOND day of the show when everything is still new and pristine! Ours includes dinner and breakfast AND we will also be visiting Longwood Gardens www.longwoodgardens.org/ and Winterthur (the duPont estate). www.winterthur.org/about/about.asp.

The theme this year is "Jazz It Up". Join us as we celebrate the birthplace of jazz and much more, as exhibitors take gardening to the next level with pumped-up versions of New Orleans walled courtyards, cast iron balconies, fountains and canals. If you like music, there will also be the toe-tapping sounds of great Jazz legends

 

Cost is $275.00 per person
based on double room occupancy! Single room $60.00 extra!

11:30pm Arrive Longwood Gardens and Winterthur – lunch on your own at either garden.

5:30pm Arrive at The Inn at Mendenhall – check-in

Salad – Classic Caesar Salad

Entrée Choices: (choose one)

  1. Chicken Mendenhall – Sauteed boneless chicken breast topped with a zesty reduction

    2. of Dijon mustard, wild mushrooms, and green peppercorns.

  2. Baked Fillet of Salmon – Mediterranean seasonies consisting of virgin olive oil, oregano,

    3. Fresh lemon, and roasted garlic.

  3. Capon – A plump boneless chicken breast filled with bread cubes, sun dried cranberries,
