February 2010 November Pictorials Charities Holiday Party (For Members Only)			Established in 1995. A Non-Profit Organization. Local Chapter of the National Society of Decorative Painters. Purpose of the Chapter is to educate painters of all levels & skills thru seminars and paint-ins as well as enjoyment and friendship. General Meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of each month at the Goleta Valley Community Center, 5679 Hollister Ave., Goleta, CA at 9 AM, followed by a Seminar or Paint-in if scheduled. Annual Membership dues are $15.00 . * Membership in SDP is required & includes a subscription to the Decorative Painter which is published quarterly, as well as many benefits and information involving the art of Decorative Painting. Currently our Chapter is involved in the Memory Box Program, a Community Project that furnishes boxes to local hospitals for the Infant Bereavement Program . We sew hats and paint pins for the" Hats from the Heart " Charity. Hats with pins are distributed to Cancer Centers, Hospitals, and Oncology Offices. We paint and donate items for the local Breast Cancer Resource Center Boutique.
