BETWEEN TIME AND TIMBUKTU (1972): New Line Cinema Advertising Proof Sheet. VF+, B&W, size 8.5 x 11 inches, slick paper stock, dated 1973. The back is blank and has some scuff marks. Stars Bob (Elliot) & Ray (Goulding), Bill Hickey and Kevin McCarthy. A lost classic directed by Fred Burzyk and written by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. This proof sheet shows 3 variations of the (above) poster painted by Doug Johnson that were intended for newspaper publicity use. Rare item for any KV collector.  $10

A BOY AND HIS DOG (1975): Films Incorporated Handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1977, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, B&W on pink colored paper, heavy stock. The paper is much pinker than the scan indicates. Handbill shows the main movie poster image. Hugo Award winning film based on the novella by Harlan Ellison. Stars Don Johnson, Susanne Benton, Alvy Moore, and Jason Robards. Written and directed by L. Q. Jones. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7

CAN HEIRONYMUS MERKIN EVER FORGET MERCY HUMPPE AND FIND TRUE HAPPINESS? (1969): Original theatrical lobby cards, size 11 x 14 inches, color images, stars Anthony Newley, Joan Collins, Milton Berle, Bruce Forsyth, Stubby Kaye, and George Jessel. Directed by Anthony Newley. These are UK lobbies and carry the British X rating.
Card #1: Condition VG-: bottom right corner border is missing, features Anthony Newley.  $2.50
Card #2: Condition VG-: crease inside entire left side border, features Anthony Newley and Joan Collins.  $3

CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON in 3D (1954): Universal 16 Pressbook for the 3-D reissue from 1977, VF/NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, B&W, slick paper stock. Only three stapled pages long, but a hard to find item. Page one has the story synopsis and the 1972 reissue poster image shown above. Page 2 lists cast and credits and mentions the 3-D anaglyphic system prints, plus shows 3 alternate poster images from the 1954 3D release listing "Julia" Adams. Page 3 shows three additional alternate poster images from the 1954 3-D release including the half sheet window card variation. Stars Richard Carlson, Julie Adams, Richard Denning, and Antonio Moreno. Directed by Jack Arnold.  $17

THE DEADLY TRACKERS (1973): Original theatrical lobby card #6, size 11 x 14 inches, color image, condition VG: staple holes in 8 places along the edges, features Richard Harris. Also stars Rod Taylor, Al Lettieri, Neville Brand, and William Smith. Directed by Barry Shear.  $1.50

DOG DAY AFTERNOON (1975): Warner Brothers, 4-page promotional card on heavy slick stock that opens to 11 x 17 inches, graded VG+ due to 1/2 inch yellow tape marks on the front cover in 3 of the 4 corners (you can see the tape marks on the scan). Stars Al Pacino, John Cazale, Charles Durning, and Chris Sarandon. Directed by Sidney Lumet. Outer flaps form a wraparound B&W shot of the street during the robbery. The inside lists detailed cast and crew film credits and has B&W shots with bios of Al Pacino, Martin Bregman, Martin Elfand, Sidney Lumet, Frank Pierson, and Dede Allen.  $2.50

FANTASTIC PLANET (1973): New World Pictures handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, blue toned, slick paper stock. A fabulous fantastic adventure in the wonder of fantamation! Roger Corman has his name on this U.S. release of an animation classic. Handbill shows four scenes from the film. Original French title was "La Plančte Sauvage." Written by Roland Topor and directed by René Laloux. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7

Directed by Chang-Hwa Jeong. Released in Hong Kong as "Tian Xia Di Yi Quan."  $3.50

FUZZ (1972): Original theatrical lobby card #7, size 11 x 14 inches, color image, stars Burt Reynolds, Jack Weston, Tom Skerritt, Raquel Welch, and Yul Brynner. Directed by Richard Colla. Condition VG: double staple holes in 8 places along the edges, features Burt Reynolds and Jack Weston.  $1

HOUSE OF 1000 DOLLS (1967): Original theatrical lobby cards, size 11 x 14 inches, red toned black & white images, stars Vincent Price, Martha Hyer and George Nader. Directed by Jeremy Summers. Also released overseas as "La Casa De Las Mil Muńecas."

KING KONG (1933): Handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, B&W, slick paper stock. Very simple design with a photo of King Kong atop the Empire State Building with biplanes attacking him. The original Merian C. Cooper masterpiece. The Date/Time/Location section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7

LITTLE MURDERS (1971): Original theatrical lobby card #5, size 11 x 14 inches, large picture format, color image, stars Elliott Gould, Marcia Rodd, Vincent Gardenia, Lou Jacobi, and Donald Sutherland. Written by Jules Feiffer. Directed by Alan Arkin. Condition VG: double staple holes in 8 places along the edges, features Elliott Gould.  $1.50

ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. (1966): 20th Century Fox Handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, B&W. Shows the famous full figure pose of Raquel Welch. Also stars John Richardson, Percy Herbert, Martine Beswick, and Robert Brown. Directed by Don Chaffey. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7

REPORT TO THE COMMISSIONER (1975): Original theatrical lobby card #5, size 11 x 14 inches, color image, stars Michael Moriarty, Yaphet Kotto, Susan Blakely, and Hector Elizondo. Directed by Milton Katselas. Condition VG: pin holes in top corners and stain in bottom left borders, features Michael Moriarty in the key advertising scene for the film.  $1

STAR TREK 75 CONVENTION FLYER: Advertising flyer for the Star Trek 75 convention on June 25-29, 1975 in Houston. VF/NM, approximately 8.5 x 11 inches, one sheet of paper with a B&W reproduction of the Enterprise painting "Within A Misty Nebula" by Morris Scott Dollens on one side and information about the upcoming Star Trek convention on the other side. G. B. Love was the chairman of the show. What makes this rather rare is the fact that the sheet is unfolded. Typically, when you find these, they are tri-folded from a mailing.  $7.50

SUGAR HILL (1974): Original theatrical lobby card #7, size 11 x 14 inches, color image, VF: pin holes in top corners, stars Marki Bey, Robert Quarry, Don Pedro Colley, Betty Anne Rees, and Richard Lawson. Directed by Paul Maslansky. Classic blaxsploitation flick that was also released as "The Zombies Of Sugar Hill."  $7

THIEVES LIKE US (1974): Original theatrical lobby card #1, size 11 x 14 inches, color image, stars Keith Carradine, Shelley Duvall, John Schuck, and Louise Fletcher. Directed by Robert Altman. Condition VG: double staple holes in 8 places along the edges, features Shelley Duvall and Louise Fletcher.  $1

THE TIME MACHINE (1960): Handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, green toned, slick paper stock. Scan image is a bit murky, but it shows the two lead characters running along a cliff edge with a lot of Morlocks in the foreground. Based on the book by H. G. Wells. Stars Rod Taylor, Alan Young, Yvette Mimieux, Sebastian Cabot, and Whit Bissell. Directed by George Pal. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $6

2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968): MGM Handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, B&W on goldenrod colored paper. The main handbill image is from a Robert McCall painting. Based on the story by Arthur C. Clarke. Stars Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood. Directed by Stanley Kubrick. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7

WESTWORLD (1973): Original theatrical lobby cards, size 11 x 14 inches, large picture format, color images, stars James Brolin, Yul Brynner and Richard Benjamin. Written and Directed by Michael Crichton. Classic SF tale where nothing can go wrong.

Shows the five main cast members, Haley, Bolger, Garland, Morgan, and Lahr, sitting on top of an oversized copy of the Oz book by L. Frank Baum. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare.  $7
